Malifaux Classics

Select metal sculpts from Malifaux's First Edition era and other early Wyrd releases, preserved for collectors, painters, and longtime players.

The swamp has produced a hunter with standards.

McTavish brings a long gun, hard-earned patience, and Bayou survival instinct to the metal range. He looks entirely comfortable hunting monsters, Gremlins, or anything else foolish enough to move in the reeds.

This is my first time painting a metal sculpt from the original first edition era and the casting detail on the swamp hunter's gear holds up beautifully. Took a primer coat without any pitting or flash cleanup, which I didn't expect from a mini this old.

The heft of this metal miniature feels great in hand and the detail on the hunting gear is sharper than I expected for a first edition sculpt. Barely any mold lines to clean up, so it went straight to priming. Perfect addition for anyone still collecting the old swamp line.

The metal cast is crisp with hardly any mold lines, which is rare for these older sculpts. McTavish fits right in with my First Edition crew and the weight of the pewter feels great to paint.
