Category: Board Game Expansion

More racers. More collisions. Considerably less dignity. Hog Wild opens the track to bigger groups and gives every race new ways to go sideways.

Turn the Race Loose

Hog Wild cards introduce new conditions and twists that can encourage aggressive ramming, alter the rhythm of the race, or reward the unlikely dream of a clean run. Big Bayou mode supports up to eight racers on a double-wide track, while the cantankerous Greenbellies add fresh obstacles and decisions even at lower player counts.

Expansion Details

  • Expands races to as many as 8 players
  • Includes Hog Wild cards, Big Bayou mode, and Greenbellies
  • Ages 12 and up
  • 30 to 45 minutes

Requires the Bayou Bash base game to play.

Ava W. ★★★★★

Six players used to feel like a crowd on the base track, but now it actually holds up without anyone sitting out. The new condition cards keep every lap unpredictable, and I've never heard this much laughing during a race.

Nicholas ★★★★★

The Hog Wild cards finally make six-player games feel chaotic instead of slow, which was my main gripe with the base set. Every race goes sideways now, exactly like promised, and my group hasn't stopped laughing.

Lucy Q. ★★★★★

Adding the expansion bumped our game night from four players to six without slowing anything down, and the new cards kept everyone second-guessing their moves. The collisions got so chaotic we were laughing too hard to finish the last lap.
