Malifaux Classics

Select metal sculpts from Malifaux's First Edition era and other early Wyrd releases, preserved for collectors, painters, and longtime players.

The Guard follows the uniform with the loudest voice.

The Guild Guard Captain stands ready to turn a street patrol into an organized problem. Coat, weapon, and command posture give the sculpt the practical authority of someone expected to keep Malifaux orderly by force.

The metal on this old sculpt has almost no flash, so cleanup was quick and the sword arm fit flush with just a touch of green stuff. Painting the brocade on the coat was a joy since the raised trim catches a wash so cleanly.

The metal cast is really crisp on the uniform details, way better than the plastic stuff I usually paint. It's a chunky little guy, so he stands out on the table next to my other first edition minis.

The detail on the epaulettes and coat trim holds up way better than I expected for a first edition sculpt. Only gripe is the mold line running down the sword arm, which took some filing. Still a solid pickup for anyone building out a Guild force.
