Malifaux Classics

Select metal sculpts from Malifaux's First Edition era and other early Wyrd releases, preserved for collectors, painters, and longtime players.

The puppeteer was never the only thing pulling strings.

Collodi stands at the center of Malifaux’s oldest puppet nightmares, slight in frame and enormous in malice. This metal sculpt preserves the unsettling figure who made every marionette nearby feel a little less inanimate.

Amelia A. ★★★★★

The metal sculpt on this one has so much more detail than the newer plastic kits, especially the marionette strings and little joints. It took a bit of cleanup on the mold lines but it's worth it if you actually paint your crews.

Aurora W. ★★★★★

Finally got my hands on one of the old metal Collodi sculpts and the detail on the marionette strings is so much crisper than I expected. Took a bit of pinning at the joints, but that's just how these first edition metals go. Worth the wait for a painter who missed out the first time around.

Ava W. ★★★★☆

The metal castings are noticeably heavier than the newer plastic kits, which gives the puppet strings a nice rigidity when you're painting them. Only gripe is that a couple of the smaller joints needed a bit of filing before assembly, but that's typical for first edition sculpts.
